Hi, out of the Chase Vortex and Gray Nicolls Maax 5 star or any other bat around £200, which would you recommend to a taller batsman who plays more of a T20 style of cricket.

Hi, the Vortex is a great option. Other bats that would suit are the GM Siren, Gray Nicolls Powerbow, Kookaburra Kahuna and the Newbery Blitz.
Hi, Would a 2.12lb Chase Vortex feel similar to a 2.10lbs Chase FLC in terms of pick up due to the shorter blade? Thank you

Hi, not really, it would still feel heavier than 2.10.
Hi, The free knocking in provided with some bats, is that ready to play ? Adam

Hi Adam, yes it is, however we always recommend a few light net sessions first.
Is there any possibility that i could get the Vortex to the weight that i want or is that the lightest i can get it from this store? Also why is the FLC so much more expensive as the Finback R11 is £205 and the FLC is around about £350?

Hi, due to the shaping and profile of the Vortex 2.9/2.10 is the lightest weight achievable. The FLC is more expensive due to being a grade 1+ limited edition piece of willow.
What bat would you recommend between Chase Vortex or Chase Finnback and what is the lightest weight you can get on the Vortex at the size SH? Also if i buy this online will i get the worst bat out of all the ones you have as you could just give me the worst one out of all the ones you have?

Hi, they are entirely different bats. The Vortex has a fuller profile and slightly shorter blade and long handle. The lightest weight would be approximately 2.10. The Finback has a concaved profile and a standard length blade and handle and would be 2.7 at its lightest. We would always endeavour to select the best bats for our customers as it is in our interest for you to be happy with what you receive so you will return and purchase from us int he future.
