Cricket Bats

Gray Nicolls have been manufacturing some of the finest cricket bats using some of the most innovative designs for over 150 years in Robertsbridge, Sussex. The innovation continues this year with the new Nitro Cricket bats to go alongside the Powerbow, Predator, Viper and Fusion. Gunn and Moore have been making cricket bats in Nottingham, England for over 120 years. They are a very traditional brand and use uncomplicated bat shapes that go along side the excellent performance qualities. The 2008 range see's the introduction of the Cannon and the revamp of the Purist to the Purist II. Gunn and Moore bats are successfully endorsed by Michael Vaughan, Herschelle Gibbs, Graeme Smith and Stephen Fleming.

Kookaburra are one of the most exiting brands around at the moment. Kookaburra bats are the epitome of the 21st century game with stunning graphics and bold profiles. The 2008 range see's the introduction of the new "Blade" bats to go along side the Kahuna, Ice and Beast. Kookaburra bats are successfully endorsed be Ricky Ponting, Mike Hussey, Ed Joyce and Kumar Sangakkara.

Slazenger replace the SXi, SX and SE of the past two years with the Pro Blade, Pure Blade and Power Blade for 2008. These bats have a great pick-up for the size and profile of each of the models in the range. Slazenger bats are used and endorsed by Ian Bell, Jaques Kallis, Paul Collingwood, Matt Prior and Michael Clarke.

Puma have developed their reputation in the short time that they have been involved in the cricket market. All Puma bats look superb with their superb graphics to go along side the beautifully crafted blades. 2008 see's a fresh range again with the new Tribute and Vendetta ranges complimenting the Ballistic, Stealth and Atomic. Puma are successfully endorsed by Adam Gilchrist, Brendon McCullum, Phil Mustard and Mal Loye.

A huge success story! In the short time that Woodworm have been around they have developed into one of the most recognisable brands in World cricket. 2008 see's the launch of a completely new and exciting range of Cricket bats. Replacing the Globe, Torch and Flame are the Hard Drive, Mega Bite and Satellite. These will be seen being used on the World stage by Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff, Dwayne Bravo, James Franklin and Brett Lee for 2008.

Newbery produce some of the classiest cricket bats on the market. The stylish range not only look good but perform to a really high standard, and due to this have alot of customers who repeat buy Newbery bats. The Uzi and the C6+ handle has been of particular interest since their introduction. Newbery are successfully endorsed by Murray Goodwin and Dominic Cork.

Quite simply, beautiful! All of the Salix bats are lovingly hand crafted by master bat maker Andrew Kember. Andrew lives and breathes cricket bats and this comes across in the sheer quality, style and performance of every Salix bat. 2008 see's a slight cosmetic change to further enhance the range.

Hunts County bats ooze quality at a very accessable price. We are always staggered by the value for money that the Hunts range of bats continues to offer. 2008 see's the ever popular Glory and Edge bats included for another year and the introduction of the Clipper and the Triumph!! Hunts County bats are successfully endorsed by Anthony McGrath, Monty Panesar, Darren Maddy and England womens captain Charlotte Edwards.

2008 is the second year that we have stocked Bradbury, and after a successful first year with the brand we are sure that they will go from strength to strength. We initially decided to introduce them after we were blown away by the enormous profile of these bats coupled with their beautiful balance and quality. Paul and Sally Bradbury hand craft all of the Bradbury bats to a very high standard and are successfully endorsed by Farveez Maharoof, Chris Rogers and Arul Suppiah.

Year after Year the straightness of the grain seen in a Kippax bat never ceases to amaze us. The Wavex handle is also a new idea and has proven perfomance qualities against a standard handle and is well worth a look at. 2008 see's the introduction of the powerful Tyronica to the range. Kippax were endorsed by Tillekeratne Dilshan in the recent England Sri Lanka series.

Miilichamp and Hall have also been added to our range for the forthcoming season. We are sure that these bats will be sure fire winners with our customers, in fact Millichamp and Hall are so confident in their bats that they offer a full "bat making experience" at there workshop in Taunton and is available through our store.
