Gunn and Moore have been making cricket bats in Nottingham, England for over 120 years. Gunn and Moore have made a substantial investment in research, expert advice and machinery for 2009. All bats now undergo superior wood conditioning, state of the art CAD (computer aided design), quantum improvements to the vital pressing operation and blade crafting by advanced CAM (computer aided manufacturing). New for 2009 are the Icon DXM, the Hero DXM which have unique shapes and complex curves which are only realisable using Gunn and Moore's advanced Design, Execution and Manufacturing technology. The Catalyst and Purist II now benefit from the same technology as do the junior bats.

Puma's bat maker has been hard at work. For 2009 all of the profiles have been changed with improved balance and pick-up the objective. The ever popular Ballistic and Vendetta bats now complemented with the new addition of the bold new Evolution and Iridium.

Newbery produce some of the classiest cricket bats on the market. Bradbury bats are the epitomy of the modern style of Cricket bat. Bradbury's have a huge profile with thick edges and an imposing swell to go alongside the excellent performance characteristics. All of the Bradbury bats pick up extremely well for the size of bat. The 2009 range see's the Sterling renamed as the S series and the Kudos of 2007 reintroduces as the M series. Bradbury have also introduces a test match quality Players grade bat in both shapes.

Year after Year the straightness of the grain seen in a Kippax bat never ceases to amaze us.
